Questions, a complaint, or a prize to claim: write to hello@knalpotcup.com. We answer within 14 days, in English or Dutch. If you're not happy with our answer, you can turn to the Netherlands Gaming Authority (Kansspelautoriteit).
The game
The game goes with the Knalpot Cup channel on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and X. It is free. How it works is on the rules page; a season runs from its first to its last race, as listed on the season page. We don't change the rules to players' disadvantage while a season is running. Points have no value and can't be bought, sold or exchanged.
Prizes
Prizes have no money value and can't be transferred, sold or exchanged. The winners are listed on the season page when the season ends. Claim your prize by writing to us from the email address of your account within 30 days after the last race of the season, so we can check it's you. If a winner doesn't claim within those 30 days, the prize goes to the next player on the leaderboard. Prizes are made in the next season; we tell the winner the date when they claim it.
Designs and ideas you give us
When you design a racer, come up with a track, choose a name for a race or send us any other design or idea for the game, it becomes ours. You transfer all rights in it, including copyright, to Hobrecker Webdesign, for free and for good, so we can use, change and publish it in any form. Dutch law wants that transfer in writing, so before we use your work we'll ask you to sign a short transfer form; if you're under 18, a parent or guardian signs it with you. As far as the law allows, you agree not to object to changes we make. You confirm the work is your own and doesn't copy anyone else's. If you like, we name you as its designer.
Keep it friendly: nothing over the top, rude or too strange for a racing game that anyone can watch. We have the last word on what goes in the game, so we can say no to a design, track or name. If we do, we'll tell you why and work out something that fits together with you.
Names on the leaderboard
- No swear words, insults, hate, or sexual words. No brands, no names of real people or of other players, and nothing that pretends to be us or one of the racers.
- We check every name automatically when you pick it. Anyone can report a name; a person looks at every report.
- If a name breaks these rules, we hide it (it shows as "Racer" plus a number) and tell you why on your account page; you then pick a new one. If three players report the same name, it's hidden until we've looked at it.
- Think we got it wrong? Write to us and we look again. Accounts that keep breaking these rules, or extra accounts, can be removed.
Who is not behind this
This game is not sponsored, endorsed or run by TikTok, YouTube, Instagram or X, and has nothing to do with them. By joining you release TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and X from any claim about this game.
